Barack Obama was the 44th President of the United States of America from the Democratic Party. He was the first President of African descent to hold office in the history of the US. He started his political career as a US Senator and served as President from 2009 to 2017. During his era, Obama passed several bills and made groundbreaking policies such as the LGBTQ Rights Act. He helped many Americans by creating Flexible Tax Relief, increasing Unemployment benefits and creating a universal healthcare network including the ACA (Affordable Care Act).
On August 4, 1961, Obama was born to a Kenyan father and an English mother. Due to cultural exchange, continuous tours to Indonesia and Hawaii made him obsessed with political and social issues.
