Scarlett Johansson announced via Instagram that she and Colin Jost just had a baby named Cosmo. While they value their privacy at this time, so they can focus on their new addition to the family, Jost jokingly remarked to direct all press inquiries to his SNL co-star, Michael Che.
The latter seemed to have taken the joke quite seriously, appointing himself “Cosmo’s Publicist” and quite literally accepting requests, questions, and inquiries from fans! Che’s Instagram Story feed has recently become an endless stream of questions related to Cosmo. Still, he also commented on how strange it felt to notice people were so taken up with a baby, even though there are so many other pressing things in the world to worry about!
As it turned out, he was just taken by surprise since he only learned later on about Jost’s joke about him being the official publicist for the baby!
