Fleetwood Mac legend Stevie Nicks is just as well-known for her musical legacy as she is for a string of personal issues that she has experienced over the past few years, including some health concerns.
Things were looking good for the singer’s touring schedule, with a string of concerts planned for 2021. However, Nicks suddenly announced the cancellation of all of her solo concerts for the year amid COVID-19 concerns. Although the artist is fully vaccinated, she still mentioned that she feels that it’s important to be cautious, especially at her age.
Nicks is not the only high-profile musician who decided to cancel her 2021 gigs due to the current Coronavirus situation in the US. Even heavy hitters and huge audience draws, such as Limp Bizkit and Lynyrd Skynyrd, decided to cancel their upcoming shows for the sake of personal and public safety. Hopefully, Nicks and all of the other artists who felt more comfortable canceling their scheduled live performances will be able to reschedule soon.
