James Comey
James Comey, born on December 14, 1960, in Yonkers, New York, is a prominent American lawyer, law enforcement officer, and author. He is known for his influential roles in the U.S. Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
Comey served as the Director of the FBI from 2013 to 2017, during which time he presided over key investigations and initiatives, including the high-profile investigation into Hillary Clinton’s private email server and the early stages of the Russia investigation.
His career includes various positions within the Department of Justice, including as the Deputy Attorney General during the George W. Bush administration.
Comey’s book, “A Higher Loyalty: Truth, Lies, and Leadership,” released in 2018, provided insights into his experiences and his perspective on leadership and ethics.
