Matt James
Matt James, born on December 5, 1991, in Raleigh, North Carolina, is an American television personality and former professional athlete known for his groundbreaking role as the first Black Bachelor in the hit reality TV series “The Bachelor.”
Before his reality TV fame, Matt James played college football at Wake Forest University and briefly pursued a career in the NFL. However, he shifted his focus to philanthropy and community work, co-founding the charity organization ABC Food Tours, which aims to provide underprivileged children with positive experiences and mentorship.
